Daphne odora, Winter Daphne,

An old-fashion plant, sometimes difficult to find a spot for in the garden where it’s happy, nevertheless, Daphne odora, or Winter Daphne, is prized for its intoxicatingly perfumed nosegay-like flowers.  Showing up in late winter, a couple of flowers can spread their scent throughout a room just when the winter blahs are threatening to take over!  Evergreen, glossy leaves, usually grows up to 4 feet high and 6 feet wide.
