Aconitum carmichaelii ‘Arendsii’, Garden Monkshood

Aconitum carmichaelii ‘Arendsii’, Garden Monkshood, is perennial that likes regular moisture and winter chill. Native to eastern Asia, it grown 2 to 4 feet high and nearly as wide. Deep purple-blue flowers in dense, branching clusters bloom from late summer into fall.  Found in the Viburnum Garden at Dunsmuir Botanical Gardens.
