Lewisia cotyledon v. heckneri, known as Cliff Maids and Heckner’s Lewisia, is a variety of the local native plant Siskiyou Lewisia or Lewisia cotyledon.  Called Cliff Maids for its propensity to perch and thrive on rocky cliffs, our Cliff Maids are right at home in the Crevice Rock Garden.  Blooms in April and May.
