Eriogonum umbellifera ‘Bear Tooth Pass’, Bear Tooth Pass Buckwheat, is a beautiful named variety of the native plant that ranges from California to Western Canada. Its greenish-white globular shaped flowers are held on stems above the foliage. Eriogonum, or wild buckwheat, is the largest dicot genus in California. Many are excellent bee fodder.
