Native to Siskiyou County, our young specimen of Anemopsis californica, Yerba Mansa, was obtained from the California Native Plant Society and planted in fall of 2013.  This perennial ground cover blooms in February and March.  Its conical white flowers resemble a huge plantain.  Historically its leaves were used for poultices.
