Western Ninebark, Physocarpus capitatus, is native to Siskiyou County and other parts of California.  A member of the rose family, western ninebark grows five to ten feet tall and wide.  Dense clusters of white flowers in May and June.  The clustered buds are as attractive as the opened blossoms.
