Western Mountain Ash

sorbusSorbus scopulina, Western Mountain Ash, is native to the Gardens and other areas of western North America. In June through August, it’s covered with flat clusters of white flowers followed by bunches of bright orange pomes. The leaves turn a spectacular orange-red in fall.
